How Long to Boil Gizzards
In order to get delicious and tender gizzards, you should cook them for 30 to 45 minutes. You should start checking the gizzards often around the 30-minute mark to see if they're done to your liking: Smaller amounts of gizzards in a smaller pot will probably be ready, but if you're making a large batch of boiled gizzards in a big pot, they may take longer. You can tell when your gizzards are done when they're fork-tender. At that point, the gizzards are ready for whatever you plan to use them for.
