How long to cook Internal Temperature

What's the Internal Temperature for Cooking Medium Steak?

The internal temp for a medium steak is between 140 degrees and 150 degrees Fahrenheit at the thickest portion of the meat. A steak cooked to medium will have a mostly pink, warm interior. For the best results, take your steak off the heat when it reaches 135 degrees, then let it rest for 5 minutes. The carryover heat will allow it to finish cooking to the perfect temperature. Once you perfect this method, you'll never have to cut up your steaks to see if they're done again!
